What inspired the name “Binated”? “Binated” is derived from the words “Binary” and “United.” It signifies a structure that grows in pairs, representing our close partnerships with our clients. It also signifies unity in our approach. Doodle Designs Inc. and Fast Embroidery Tapes are wholly-owned brands of Binated Inc., each catering to different market spaces and audiences.

How are Fast Embroidery Tapes and Doodle Designs related to Binated? Fast Embroidery Tapes is a wholly-owned brand of Binated specializing in embroidery digitizing and vector art services. Based in Ellijay, GA, it’s known for efficient workflow solutions that combine advanced technology with human resources. We focus on same-day and next-day service options. Doodle Designs Inc. also owned by Binated specializes in embroidery designs, digitizing, vector art, image editing, and order management services.

Both brands use the REST API-based workflow solutions, a technology platform allows clients to place, track, and edit their orders easily and allows clients to process 100’s of orders with minimum human intervention. This integrated approach ensures that customers receive high-quality, efficient service tailored to their needs. Used in 35 countries with an average of 2400 requests in 24 hours.

Anish Varghese, as the founder, you have a long history in the industry. Could you share some important and interesting facts about your journey in the industry? After 26 years, we remain strong with our clients only because we kept evolving. Recognizing the potential for innovative tech solutions and Design services, I founded Binated Inc. This venture was driven by a vision to create applications and workflows that could seamlessly integrate to our client systems.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a talented team at Binated Inc., and together, we’ve been able to bring innovative solutions to the market. Our work has not only improved business operations for our clients but also contributed to advancements.

How did the relationship with Wilcom begin, and why is it important? “Our partnership with Wilcom spans over two decades,” Anish shares. “We started with board Embroidery Digitizing, moved to on-scan Digitizing, and eventually integrated Wilcom’s advanced embroidery software into our workflow. This partnership has allowed us to deliver high-quality embroidered products to our clients.”

MULTIPLE LICENSES: Recognizing the industry-leading capabilities of Wilcom’s software, Binated decided to acquire multiple licenses to integrate these tools into our workflow. Now Binated is the largest single Embroidery Digitizing house with the most advanced Wilcom software.

How does Binated ensure consistency in contract work for regular customers? “We customize workflows using Wilcom templates and Fabric Assistant tools for each customer,” Anish notes. “Each client is referred to as a PROFILE, with dedicated systems and resources assigned to them.”

How does Binated use sampling feedback to enhance production quality? Sampling is an essential step in Binated production process. Binated Portal has an integrated proofing tool that brings all the stakeholders into a single platform for sharing feedback and transparency.

It allows the company to identify and address potential issues before full-scale production. Utilizing feedback from sampling and addressing common design problems ensures high-quality final products that meet customer expectations.

At the heart of Binated’s success is its dual focus on Support Services and Design Services.

The Support Services division helps companies hire remote skilled resources for various back-office functions (virtual workforce), while the Design Services division offers fast turnaround times for vector artwork, embroidery digitizing, image editing, marketing collateral and more.
