Quickly Create Christmas Ornaments for the Office Christmas Tree!

Step-by-Step Guide
Let’s Get Started. You’ll need:
– Iron-on backing
– Felt
– Madeira Burmilana thread
– Organ needle size 90/14
– Madeira FS Supertwist thread
– Wilcom lettering
Step 1: Prepare
- Iron on Backing: Apply iron-on backing to the felt to provide stability during embroidery.
Step 2: Personalize with Staff Initials
- Navigate to the Lettering tool in your EmbroideryStudio software
- Select the Vermicelli Faux Chenille font at 65mm.
- Also available for selection is Wilcom’s Yale Faux Chenille font
- Enter the initials of each staff member to personalize your ornaments.
- Click ‘Update Text’ to finalize.
Step 3: Add Cutting Line
- Create a Vector Circle – Draw a small vector circle with a diameter of 5mm for the eye.
- Offset – Select all, including the vector circle and use the Offset Tool to create a run stitch offset of 5mm around each letter.
- Adjust for Embellishments (Optional) – Add embellishments like sequins, cording, or bling to enhance the festive appeal.
If adding sequins, ribbons, cording or bling, increase the offset width to accommodate the extra embellishments.

- Embroider your design and cut out the ornament along the run stitch offset.
